Okay, so :iconelcool: kinda challange me once to find the weirdest way to hide the hands and feet in my drawings, turning them into fins is pretty weird in my books :XD:

I know the colouring here sucks, I really wasn't thinking while I was colouring plus the blue I used to colour the whale (The big squareish thing is a whale... I hope.) died on me :P

And now to explain why I even drew this picture... well my little sister is going on some kind of disney crazy and I was thinking "How can they make a mermaid seem like good creatures? They were man-eaters in the greek mythology!" So I wanted to draw a scene that might be a bit more logical and this is what came out, don't ask me why, it just did.
When I showed it to my friends they asked me why she had no cheast, well, how do you expact some-one to be a quick swimmer if they have a huge cheast?! Plus fish don't have any cheast to speak of and she's part fish, therefore, she shouldn't have huge breasts.
That and I just felt like it.

Not me personally, but some {namely, fish} do. Also, i've been told of an episode of Futurama where that happened, on one of the two possible ways.

Is this the point where i should mention she looks very loli and cute, if one could ignore the huge fins and the ickiness associated with her being a freaking osteichthia.

I knew a girl names Mica. She was made of win and awesome. She played a paladin and was possibly the only elementary school kid i ever saw playing one correctly. I miss talking to that little pixie... She was a friend of the 10yo i mentioned in a journal some time ago, btw.

She never showed any particular interest in underwater creatures, though, and i only saw her have seriously bad luck once.

It wouldn't be running, but yeah, i can definitely see that. They'd have to propel themselves across a flat slab of rock that rises above the waves, probably by using their hands and maybe making jumping motions with their tail. Also, slide contests where you take a running {errr, swimming} start to gain momentum, then jump out of the water and onto a smooth, wet rock, The goal is to slide as far across that rock as possible.

Well my Mica is a boy (Didn't decide on a age yet) and he's a demi-semi-god, can make it rain fish and ALWAYS has bad luck... he's named Mica because Mica is the greek godesses of luck so I thought it would be ironic to call him after her :XD: she was his great-great-grandmother or some-thing.

Oh yeah! I remember that episode! It's been agggggges since I watched Futurama :XD: the site I used to watch it on went offline :(

Oh, i think you told me about him once! You mentioned it's not only fish, but all sorts of marine creatures.

But isn't the greek goddess of luck called Tyche? Or was there more than one?
