Okay, so :iconelcool: kinda challange me once to find the weirdest way to hide the hands and feet in my drawings, turning them into fins is pretty weird in my books :XD:

I know the colouring here sucks, I really wasn't thinking while I was colouring plus the blue I used to colour the whale (The big squareish thing is a whale... I hope.) died on me :P

And now to explain why I even drew this picture... well my little sister is going on some kind of disney crazy and I was thinking "How can they make a mermaid seem like good creatures? They were man-eaters in the greek mythology!" So I wanted to draw a scene that might be a bit more logical and this is what came out, don't ask me why, it just did.
When I showed it to my friends they asked me why she had no cheast, well, how do you expact some-one to be a quick swimmer if they have a huge cheast?! Plus fish don't have any cheast to speak of and she's part fish, therefore, she shouldn't have huge breasts.
That and I just felt like it.

From his blog, telling about one of his lecturers:

אנחנו נדבר על טריפת צבאי תומפסון על ידי צבועים
{מראה תמונה של צבי ספְּרִינְגְבּוֹק.}

הנה הצבועים רודפים אחרי צבאי תומפסון
{הניצודים הם צבאי תומפסון הפעם, אבל הציידים הם כלבים טלואים.}

When first I appear I seem mysterious,
but when explained I'm nothing serious.

>_< Jesus t***yf***ing christ. :iconfacepalmplz: Did the same teacher say that?
I said so before, and i'll say it again: she needs to be shot. With a hammer.

Yup same teacher :XD: at least we're usually in the computer room for her lessons so I can read webcomics when she's not looking...

Wait... lemme get that straight: Her class is the main {if not the only} reason you went to that school in the first place; it only happens like once a month, because she can't be bothered to actually show up to class; but when finally it does happen, you spend that lesson reading webcomics? :O_o:

No no! The art teacher that didn't turn up was from my OLD school... the one that was three years of fail and the reason I'm cheerful most of the time at this school, I just keep thinking "Well my old school was waaaaay worse then this" and then I can get over most things :)

And I usually read them while she's messing with the computer trying to show us pictures on one of those big screen things... I'm still getting the highest grades in class on that subject while most of the other kids are failing it.
History of art is just as boring as normal history... you'd think learning about mytholigical stories would be more interesting... ah well, at least I read quite a lot of them when I was around ten years old (I used to love reading those kind of things... until I read some really gross facts and stories about mummies and had nightmares for ages :XD: then I stopped reading those books for a while)

Mummies gross you out? Then you should never read the original stories from which the Brothers Grimm's fairytales were made.
And history can actually be pretty interesting. Not when the teacher has no idea what she's speaking about, though.

Well now they don't :) in fact, when we were learning about how they made the mummies in history of art class (Guess what? Pickling a dead body is art!) I enjoyed grossing out my friends by telling them how they took the brains out and stuff :XD:.
The teacher even made mummies seem boring which is really saying some-thing.

I read the orignal Brother Grimm fairytales a few years ago... and I searched up all kinds of symbolizim in children stories (And got scarred for life from one of the things I heard about a part in "Miz petel"... *shudder* but that was on a T.V show) it's actually scary what those stories are really about.

I never heard of this one.
But for a very screwed-up version of Little Red Riding Hood, watch "The company of Wolves".

The original of Sleeping Beauty is probably the worst of the lot.

Another weird version of fairytales is in (Caution- fangirl up ahead) "Into the woods" :XD: I know I've been going on about it a lot since I've seen it but it's really really good! Any-ways in the story after the baker (Don't ask me to explain, it's not a typo, the baker saves them) little red riding hood decides her red cloak can't protect her, and she should stop being a little girl, so her granny gives her a new cloak out of the skin of the wolf that attacked them... and a knife for proper protection :XD:

I thought they all ended up pretty much the same after a while... you can only toss people into the sea in a barrel with nails in it a number of times before it gets boring.
